Azensis and alternate tire sizes

It's time, again, for new front tires and with the next autox around the corner I hav to pull the trigger soon. I've run azensis in the past on an e30 and loved them so I thought I'd give the a try on the boxster. The only problem i have is that the front tires are only available in the sizes below. Any recommendations?

I know that a lot of folks run 225/45/17 on the front; and several kinds of tires that are not available in the stock 205 size are available in the 225 (like the hankook v12 evo which is one I am looking at for my next set)

I bet some of them will chime in and let you know if there are any differences in driving feel or handling (my guess would be minimal, maybe a touch less understeer?) but I would wait to see what they say.

Diameter wise it is virtually identical to stock.

Give Hankook RS-3s a look. More grip and more life than Azenis but you may need to do all 4 corners to preserve car balance. 225/45/17 is the ticket for stock front wheels.

I used Azenis on my boxster for a year or so, I went with 225 up front and 255 rear. They heat up quick at autocrosses and youll need to bleed a lot of pressure out of them between runs.

They dont tolerate cold weather too well and tend to fall apart
