engine break in 2nd stage oil results

For my 2nd stage oil I added castrol GTX 10w40 with Delco EOS (6-8 cylinder) additive. I drove 765 miles minimum drive 25km (16 M), mainly highway but some city, varied rev's and gears, tried to keep rev's above 3200 and below 4200rpm but 5000 rpm did get in there a few times.

I found a local lab to test the oil so this week I'll take in my first and second samples to be tested. Below is what this oil samples looked like. What are the small yellow flakes? Is that possible paint from the new chains? There were about 6-8 very small metal flakes in the filter but I had to work to find them.
Any advice?

3rd oil change Follow Up

For those who may have been wondering how my engine is doing here are the results for my recent oil change.

Nov 18 - total miles on engine 47,220 miles (75994 km); total miles on rebuilt engine using conventional oil 3242 miles (5217 km); miles on this batch (3rd) of castrol GTX 10W40 with delco EOS additive, 2092 miles (3367 km).
Since filter, magnetic drain plug, oil pan, oil sample and oil analysis from lab all looked good I have moved to full synthetic Joe Gibbs DT 5W40. I took the car for a 20 min ride just to coat the engine internal and now it sits in my garage waiting for May 01, 2014.
Also, I am now back to a LN Eng. magnetic drain plug both Dimple and LN have worked well for me, i have both.

Any thoughts?
