Cool no speedo or trip meter

it was night swapped the battery hook it up wrong , corrected it and now the speedo and trip meeter will not work and the abc and tcp lights are on , any one do this before and have these results the car runs fine all seems to work ok . I know not a smart move . Wanted to beable to take thecar to see my daughter frist sculling meet .

By "hooked it up wrong", are you saying that you hooked the negative cable to the positive terminal, and the positive cable to the negative terminal?

Don't you just kick yourself when you do stuff like that? I fried a $600 alternator by hooking up booster cables backwards one dark morning when I was already late for work. (not on the Boxster, fortunately!)

I'd say there's a good chance you've toasted something. If troubleshooting electrics isn't your forte (I'm not trying to be funny, really) then you might want to get it in to be checked out before it strands you somewhere inconvenient.

First step would be to check all fuses. Also, try unhooking the battery for 5 minutes, then reconnect.

It's very possible that you toasted something.
