Leaky Transmission

Hello everyone. My 2000 Boxster 2.7 automatic started dripping ATF from where the tranny meets the engine. I haven't take it apart yet. Any suggestions? Thanks

Most likely it's the front pump seal where the torque converter plugs into the trans. There is also a o-ring around the front pump that could leak or the bolts that hold the pump in.. The torque converter seal and bolt seals can be replaced easily once the trans is removed but the o-ring is much more involved. Good luck.

Thank you 3.2 s I decided to take it to the shop to the big boys. I'll keep you posted once I hear from them and let u know what was the culprit.
