flembot Registered User Join Date: Sep 2013 Location: California, USA Posts: 1	Double check your Parking-Brake Light. My 2000 Boxster has it round and it says "PARK" on it. If it doesn't come on, you have a bad switch which is cheap to replace yourself but expensive to do so in the dealer due to the labor to remove your center console. Basically, the top won't motor on unless the system recognizes your car is in park. - Flembot
