Litronics Fogged?

Do my projectors look fogged up?

First pic is of my 98 boxster. I got some used litronics from a demantler. The lights look fine on the road, but I'm thinking that it can be better.

The second pic is off a BMW brand new. What does everyone think? Should I open it up and clean it with a Q tip or something?

From what I read, the Boxster lights are glued together and I haven't read anyone successfully opening them without breakage. Are you sure the fogging is on the inside? Maybe some plastic cleaner like Plexus on the outside will help.

I'm with 98Boxster98 on the cleaning the outside. You can't get to the inside without tearing up the housing. Try the Plexus and see what happens. If you get them clean like you want them, get the 3M invisible headlight covers to protect against future oxidation and the sandpaper effect of road grime over time. They clean off with Plexus too.

I have Plexus on it's way, but it seems that you guys are talking about the outside of the headlight. I'm talking about the projector itself; the round piece "inside" the headlight fixture.
