Rear Spoiler

Ok, so the spoiler goes up @ 75MPH. When does it go down? I doubt @ 74MPH, it would be going up and down like crazy with my highway driving. Anyone know?

It goes down at about 50 mph - as stated in the owner's manual. Been on just a few Boxster drives in 4 years to watch them go up and then go down at about the speed stated in the owner's manual. Jeff

Red face deactivated spoiler

anyone know what to look at to reactivate my spoiler?

It was deactivated due to having a solid mounted rear spoiler on the back. I already checked the fuse, but don't know what else to look for. Relays?

Thanks in advance,
Will

woboxster,
there's a switch located by the dead pedal. just press it long enough up or down when key is on.

When I purchased my 2000 S with the Aero kit 1 mine would not move also. Under the the plastic piece that covers the latch in the trunk. (2 Screws hold this) Mine was inpluged try this. Also after I pluged mine in 1 week later I unpluged it the lines to the car were not the same with both spoilers. imho I hope this helps.

To make the spoiler go up when the car is parked you don't have to hold the button. It will automatically raise with just a button tap. To make it go down completely, you do have to hold the button down for a few sec. The car does not have to be running either, you just need the key in the on position. Alittle water usually settles under the spoiler after a washing, so I raise it up and get under there with a shammy.
