Leaking Ball Joint, Possible?

Do suspension ball joints contain fluid that could leak out? I replaced my control arms late last year in an attempt to fix a steering shimmy/play issue, but to no avail. They were rebuilt Vertex Auto rebuilt units with new replaceable ball joints. I've maybe put 5k miles on the car since then.

I'm still chasing that steering shimmy issue, and last night I thought i'd stick my head under to see if i could see anything obviously wrong. I saw there is some oil/grease on the control arm right next to where the ball joints are. Could this be leaking from there? Maybe the shocks are leaking?

It's worse on the drivers side, but the passenger side seems to have it too. Here are some pics:

Ball joints have grease in them when they get hot from driving they do seep a little it's normal nothing to worry about. your shimmy could come from several things. the cheapest and easiest to eliminate would be your wheel balance. Have a reputable place balance your wheels. then check. could also be you tires are worn. cheap tires and Porsche don't mix. If it is none of those then check in the steering links (they have small ball joints on both sides)
