Possible Bumper Air Ducts where those Useless Triangle Reflectors are under Headlight

Possible Bumper Air Ducts where those Useless Triangle Reflectors are under Headlight.
If you look hard there seems to be a space for air flow under where those triangle amber reflectors are so I popped off the reflector for a look.
There are no screws. Just 3 friction fit fasteners on the 3 corners.
Also it seems that the top of the bumper cover is also curved out as well to maybe accept an air flow.
Could there be a possible air duct advantage here for brakes or radiators if those useless reflectors are removed just under the headlights.
A triangular black frame with screen mesh may look better than those amber reflectors.
Any thoughts or ideas?
