I was referring to the white and yellow examples in the first couple of posts as I see no seam. The split turbo examples look like they would plug right in.

The yellow and white vehicles have had the oem inserts completely removed, and replaced with just mesh .

but on the stock piece is there that much lip? it seems that rear quarter in those pics is from a wide-body kit and designed with a deeper lip. I could be wrong though.

here's an image of a stock fender without the vent:

so, there's obviously some bodywork going on with those white/yellow cars. more likely, those look like aftermarket widebody fenders.

Well, those are Gemballas, so the wide body speculation would be correct. Personally, I don't like that look all that much, but the ones that still contain an insert with a different style or mesh look good to me. That turbo-style one is really nice, it actually blends with the car's basic look.

Interesting point. So far as I know, the Gemballa kit retains all of the oem parts (except the hood), to include the fenders . I was under the impression, that if you remove the insert portion of the side intake, the remaining channel extends further inward than the photo RK has posted . In any case, it seems that the turbo style intakes win out .

I think if it were up to me and I wanted to go with another vane setup, I would go with that turbo one or the charactre one. the techart ones are kinda ok.
