Which MAF sensor... 124 or 125?

So im getting a new MAF but im having a hard time figuring which one I want. is it that with E-gas and a 2001 boxster you need the 125? also my VIN does not really make sense to me either. here is where I was looking for the part...

When I replaced mine I looked at the original one, which was a 124, and ordered the same. If you already have a 125 you should get another. It is my inderstanding If you have a 124 you need an ECU re-flash to run the newer 125 part.

I wasn't sure which one was right for my car either. Easiest way to find out is to take out the old one. The part number will be on the sensor. Or at least it was on mine (125 style).
