DIY??? Rear Tail Light Lens

Can anyone here give me some pointers on how to change my tail lights?

Mikey has some new toys coming. Also anyone ever installed the Optima SC34R Battery?

Mike

If you mean just the bulbs, the procedure is outlined in the manual. For the tail light lamp assembly, it's 4 nuts (8mm?) per assembly that holds them in position.

From what I remember:

1) Take out the carpet section
2) Remove the four screws
3) Unplug the wire harness
4) Slide out light
5) Peel off the seal on the old light
6) Stick old seal on new light
7) Reverse the steps 4-1

Probably will take about 20 minutes if you take your time.

I haven’t done this in a long time, but if I remember correctly, the smaller one just snaps on and the other needs to be unscrewed.
