Your car already has a factory cold air intake.

True, but it's very restrictive...I love the EVO. Read this thread, I posted pictures of the OEM air cleaner and there are suggestions. Good luck.

Stock air filter is the best lasting power. Once aftermarket filters get dirty they flow less than the stocker. You may get a power increase from a aftermarket filter but that will fall off quikly. That info is from a super reliable source on this forum. As for evo or anything like that.... Im sure their less restrictive, but they will up you intake air temps rediculously. Stock is definatly the best long lasting tested method to go with. Just my two cents.

My carbon fiber intake is not far away. This will be much less restrictive and will not increase intake temps. Once I have completed mine, I will be happy to help others produce one of their own.

I have had the EVO and it was not worth the money. I had it installed at RUF and they agreed with me as far as performance being worse, but it did make the car sound meaner and throatier. I actually felt like I lost a lot of low end torque. Definitely was not worth the cost. I have since gone back to the stock air filter and car runs great. I say spend your money elsewhere on the car.
