Actually looks kinda restrictive. The air flows inthrough the snorkle up to the top of the box, then down through the filter and out through the MAF. Makes two 90 degree turns at minimum and no clear path. Maybe an intake isin't such a bad idea. Anyone else disagree?

I made that argument a year ago...and it's four squared off 90 degree turns and then strained through the screen that sits just before the MAF sensor. I now have an EVO intake with an Outerwear pre-filter. It's a straight shot from the outside and no screen...the throttle response and intake sound is intoxicating.

Brilliant - this was exactly what I was after!

Any tips on removal? Looks like it would just be those few visible bolts and obviously the intake pipe after the MAF?

I am quite positive my carbon airbox/intake pipe will be far superior to this stock item now
