very loud screech...aweful

so driving my whip this morning and I heard an aweful screech coming from I believe the front wheel on the right. It was very clear but hard to know for sure where it was coming from. it was far worse than a low pad scratch almost as if the brake dust shield came off and was scraping on the rotor. I feel as if this may be the bearing but most posts do not talk about a loud screech.

any ideas? also it went away after a few minutes and seems to only happen when the car is moving.

Bearings don't screech. They make a rumble.

Could have just been a small stone caught between brake pad and rotor...

I had previously thought of that however, this happened two days in a row. now what makes it even stranger is that it happened in the same spot near my house. and if I go different direction it does not happen. weird.

Fuel tank venting system is in this area and does emit some strange noises!
