suspension delta <2004 vs 2005+
Is it possible to put a 2005+ Caymen coils/shocks in a 2001 Boxster S?
From a scale of no-effing way to yes but a ton of work, to a slight modification, to very little effort at all?
thanks,
Mike

The aftermarket kits that I've seen specify either 97-04 or 05+, so there must be something that makes them incompatible with each other.

That is what I am trying to figure out.
I have the opportunity to pick up a Cayman aftermarket
product but have a 01 Boxster S.
I don't mind if there is some slight modification work
for the amount of $$$ I could be saving.
I'm wondering if the aftermarket is separated because
it is not 100% plug and play --
or no effing way :-)

Mike,
You might try contacting the actual manufacturer of the set you intend to buy. They might be able to give the different specs between the parts.
Who knows, they may even be able to supply the necessary pieces to make them fit.
