Very strange window problem

Thanks a lot for the help i will experiment with the suggestions to see what the problem is. I have a feeling that your right because no I recall that the top doesn't go exactly in the center, its only when I press down on the button to lock it in does it goto the center.

Any idea why it doesn't sit exactly in the right place?
The car is still under wanrranty at the dealer so if i can I will try and get them to work properly
