AWE exhaust tips

I've been thinking about moding the exhaust system on our 06 2.7 just to get a more aggressive sound to it but don't want to spend the $1700 for a FabSpeed setup--which sounds great.

Saw something on the Dream1 y pipe which fits in place of the stand T coming out of mufflers. The maker promotes it as improving sound and adding a few HP. The clip I listened to on their site really didn't sound any different for the standard exhaust note; who knows about the added power..

I saw something similar from AWE--an exhaust system maker--which is essentially a Y pipe with stainless tips that supposedly will work on the standard exhaust.

Would appreciate any info on the Dream 1 or the AWE exhaust tips from people that have used them.

Why not do the PSE (Pedro's Sport Exhaust) mod? I'm thinking about doing it on my car and found that it might run a few hundred bucks - and considerably less if you're talented enough to do it yourself. It definitely works. Check out the DIY section of pedrosgarage.com

You could do the Crios mod, which will cost you nothing if you have the right drill bits. If you search for it here on the forum, you will find detailed instructions. I preformed it on my 03 base and I really like the sound.

The Crios mod. doesn't work on a 987, you'll just drill thru the back of the tailpipe.
