Steve Tinker Registered User Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Queensland, Australia Posts: 1,522	Water pump lubrication Does the water pump get any lubrication from the coolant? My coolant has been in the car for 67,000km & 9 years and I wonder if "old" coolant has an affect on water pump life. Coolant change is coming up, but should I also change the pump while the system is empty? Steve
