Question The red clip...

While I was at Suncoast buying Boxster things, I purchased one of the 'bid red clips'. It's not really that big. I figured i could find where it goes but...I can't figure out where it goes...where's it go?!?

You bought it with out knowing what it does?!?!

You put it where the top clips in above the rearview mirror. It keeps the motion detector active if you alarm the car with the top down.

At least I assume that is what you are talking about.

The red clip is a part you can buy from any Porsche dealer.

It makes you go faster.

Yes indeed! I can now make warp speed ! And yes I bought it, not without knowing what it does, but where it goes. Very small cost and I knew I'd find a use for it...why do you ask? ...heh...back to my cave with me!

I got mine about a month ago from the dealer. Roughly $7.

Wow, 7 bucks!? Brings new meaning to the word "stealership." Got mine at a local P-car dealership for about half that.

Bought mine yesterday, that's about what I paid. Found it on e-bay but after shipping and everything it would have been $14-$16! So I did save money in my mind.

I got mine from Sunset with another order so the shipping wasn't a big deal, and it was like $3.

I think you meant Suncoast. Not Sunset?

Sorry, about the confusion, I mean Sunset Imports. There the Porsche parts wholesaler in Oregon. They have the best prices on every part in my experience. I have only found two parts that were cheaper elsewhere and it was only a few cents difference.
