I Need Some Big Time Help

I think i have an electrical shortage some where but i am not sure.with my car in motion, as soon as i turn the the head lights on the cd player cuts off, then comes back on, this happen several times.The radio doesnt store the preset stations, the clock not keeping the correct time, all this when the motor is turn off.And finally while driving, i turn the light on, the was a sudden jerk on the car and a lost of power. The battery just got replaced at the dealership, becaus they thought my battery was weak, now i think they replaced a good battery.Anyone with any advice will be very appreciated.Thanks

Could be the ignition switch. These go bad and cause all kinds of electrical gremlins. What year is your car?

Retest the battery and the charging system.

The car is a 1997 but with 26000 miles

My keys go in and out just fine, the clock is not holding the correct time when the car is park, and i have to reset, the radio stations all the time when the car is parked over nite

Follow this thread including the link to Mike Fokle's site on how to fix the ignition switch.

A bad ignition switch will have the symptoms that you described regardless of getting the key in / out of the slot.

Mine doesn't happen all the time, that is the confusing part about it
