Air/Oil Seperator Issue
I have a late model 2007, 2.7 engine in a racing boxster. I ran it at a track for two days which was fine and then went to another track were i spun out. Massive amounts of smoke started coming out. I changed the air/oil seperator and it is still doing it. I just bought a super duty air/oil seperator from Germany that has 2 chambers but I am wondering if I did something else to the car that could cause the same problem??? Just as I have read and heard from others it seems to happen at hire RPM's and after comng out of a high G turn while stomping on the gas. Any thoughts from the Boxster experts???

Check your compression.
Has the idle changed much from before and after the smoking? Also check your coolant level... could be coolant leaking into a cylindar. |
