cleaning window and tree sap

Hi folks- I have a 2002 S, the rear plastic window is a bit "foggy" and faded. Any solutions for products or methods for cleaning this up so I can see through it clearly? Also, last fall I mistakenly parked near a tree that puked a bunch of sap all over my car- any ideas for the best/safest method for cleaning this off?
Thanks for your help!
