What bolt ons to achieve 240 crank HP on my 2.5

I have read a lot of threads today about modifications, and all, and there seems to be a lot of argument on just how much power you can get out of a stock 2.5 without forced induction.

I currently have a late 99 that I just put a new engine in. I have got slotted and drilled rotors and ceramic pads. Currently I am working on suspension, but when I am done I would like to get the most out of the engine that I can... Relaibly of course.

I have looked into a supercharger kit that claims increased of 80 horsepower at 4.5psi, for the great price of $6,500. But if I can get 40 more horsepower for a good bit less than that, I would be very content. After all the car is quite amazing the way it is, and I do not want to have to replace the motor thanks to this supercharger kit.. however I am curious to see anyones opinion on this kit by imagine auto.

I have read that someone got about 40 more horsepower from intake, exhaust mods, porting the TB, and gettin the ECU re mapped, but what intake does everone here prefer, which exhaust set up is good? How the heck do I port this TB, and where do I get the ECU remapped without taking out a second mortgage for all of the above?

No bolt ons needed:

1) Sell your car
2) Add the $6,500 to the kitty
3) Then buy an "S"

What part of Louisiana are you in??

I have a twin turbo 2.5 and would be willing to take you for a ride.
I live in Baton Rouge but am weekly anywhere from Amite to Lafayette.

I also had a iA supercharger on this car.

Let me know if you are interested.

Growing up the car magazines said how amazing Porsches are. Was I brainwashed? Somehow...I doubt it.

You'll spend a fortune getting to 240 hp on that 2.5L unless you get this!!
