Spoiler Issue

So I installed my Top Speed muffler two weeks ago, which involved removing the spoiler. Today I noticed that the spoiler isn't contracting or extracting 100% all the way.

Anyone have any ideas? I removed the spoiler cover(painted part) just to see if it was rubbing against anything,it's not. What gives?

When I manually raise the spoiler it only goes halfway and closes 95% of the way but not all the way?!

Any clues?

It's an 01' 986 S.

Did you check to see if you returned all the pieces the right way?If I remember correctly the metal piece that the actual plastic piece that the wing goes on can put back on 2 different ways... I would double check the reassembly first.

Yes sir. I checked to see if it was on all the right way and it is.

Perhaps I just need to take the car out and hit 75mph and maybe it will recalibrate on it's own?

THANKS TRIGEM2K!

He told me to leave the bracket on w/ the two bolt on loosely and lower the spoiler. Then tighten the two bolts after it lowers all the way. I have no clue how or what it did but it worked! It deploys all the way as it should!
