Cabriolet sealer

where can i get some Cabriolet sealer for my M3 roof. Its leaking and i am sure someone on this forum posted about this sealer.

any help will be welcomed.

I may be the one who used/abused that term.

In my ignorance I thought Convertible top sealer was a waterproofing similar to what you use on boots. It seems it is really another name for weatherstripping.

It seems like there SHOULD be a product from 3M and the like that reseals a seeping fabric roof - but there may not be one

In the UK we have found Scotchguard Heavy Duty Waterproofer to be the best. Designed for waterproofing tents, it comes in an aerosol can for about $10, which last 2-3 applications

Water beading is very impressive

For Uk members available from some (but not all) branches of B&Q - normally in with the household cleaning products (mops/buckets etc !)

Also along similar lines Fabsil is pretty good too (another tent waterproofer)
