Quick question? Does this exhasut sound alot different than the stock version?

Have you ever posted up a video? Would love to hear what it soundslike on the S version engine. Jon

I did, and the only one I could find was the PSE on a 2.7 standard Boxster.

Is there a version out there for the 3.2 S w/ PSE or does it really matter?

I personally can describe the PSE sound on a 986 much like a stock 996 - absolutely NO resonance across all rev. bands. That is why i have my PSE on default (always ON) mode.

I just had a local Porsche shop put in the exhaust and headers from Maxspeed-Motorsports. I am picking it up tonight and will let you know. The EVO intake is going in this weekend.

Please let me know what differences you experience (ie noise, more power, etc...) Looks like you went with the entire system.

I put a Billy Boat exhuast on my 1999 2.5L last year. The first time my wife road it in it after it was installed she said "Sounds like you need a new muffler". It"s loud but cool. Makes the car sound a hell of a lot faster than it is and sounds great at the track. I 'd recommend it to anyone. Seems to be a little quicker than it was.

I finally have the Maxspeed headers and exhaust installed. It sure is loud especially at 2500 rpm. I don't mind it though as I try not to leave it there.

For not having a ton of money to throw at it I am quite happy. There are others with this same setup here too.
