I have a 2000 boxster and i made mine myself. It was wayyy more complicated than it needed to be, I spent $40 on mine vs. $380 or so for the EVO intake. The hardest part was getting the old one out...its just too big and i had to cut it into several peices. I simply cut the stock intake tube behind the factory airbox and used a peice coupler to clamp on a KN airfilter. Performance and sound was noticable but nothing crazy...If you do it like mine than you will have to clean your airfilter every couple of months or you WILL notice performance drop.

Good luck!
