Power Steering low again in less than 2 months

Today when i picked my boxster up from the bodyshop, the power steering pump was squeling so i put it into service mode and filled her back up and that cured the squel, but my problem is that the fluid ran low about 1.5 months prior to it happening again today. What are some common areas of leakage on the boxsters power steering system?

Return side tubing where it comes back to the pump. The little plastic fitting fails and it starts dumping fluid. Any spots on the garage floor?

Not from what i can see right now, Ill have to take a look i guess but thank for the heads up about that plastic part failing, Ill pay special attention to that part when i get under it. Probably knock it out sometime within the next couple weeks.

How much fluid does the PS fluid resevoir hold by itself, not counting the hoses and rack?

I don't remember. There were a couple of posts about this on Renntech complete with pictures and howto's. Mine hasn't failed yet. Last month at Willow a brand new GT3 from Circle Porsche unloaded all his PS fluid in a tight turn at the end of the straight. Oops! Warranty time. Didn't even have his license plates yet.

Just wondering where is the PS fluid resevoir located again? Under the front hood or under the top/clamshell area in the engine?

Another oldie.

Another place is the power steering rack. There is a seal on each end of the rack but you cannot see it because it is covered by the bellows boot. The boot fills up with fluid over time and dumps on the ground, so you may not see anything on your garage floor if it dumps out while you are on the road.

Porsche is on the 7th generation of the rack.
