Power to the iPod!!

Using the advice from a sportbike friend I finally got power to my iPod.

I bought a fuse extender (HHA fuse accessory) from Auto Zone. I connected the hot wires and attached the ground wire to a torque screw behind the stereo head unit. Now for power.

Our fuse boxes are the same as in the 911's, so there is an empty slot in row D that's for the 911's rear windows. I just plugged the extender in there and put a 7.5 amp fuse on the top slot on the extender. Turn the key and WOOT I don't have to worry about charging my iPod before taking the Box for a spin.

It took about an hour to do, most of the time was used to find a good spot for the extender. Then I kept putting the actual fuse in the bottom slot when it needs to be on the top.
