Locking gas filler door

Hey folks, I have a 2000-S with central locking. The gas filler door won't lock when I lock the doors. I replaced the acuator but didn't help. Any ideas?

Mine wasn't locking either but while i was fiddling with it i noticed the pin was missing the receiver. 30secs of fiddling and viola, it started to mate correctly.

If the pin is extending when you lock up check the receiver positition.
