Charlot Registered User Join Date: May 2007 Location: Montreal, Canada Posts: 3	Idle and backfire problem I'm new to this forum, but I think I'm going to like it from what I've red. Here is my problem : I have a 97 Boxter that has an idle and backfire problem. When the MAF was disconnected, the engine was ok. So, the MAF has been change. For 100 miles(160km), it ran fine. Then when It reapeared. Don't know if it's constant or intermittent... I've red that it could be the oil separator... but don't know what it is. I'd like to have your opinions, it would be appreciated.
