Question ABS / TC lights came on

I was driving around today, a beautiful sunny day, and all of a sudden I noticed the ABS and TC lights came on. Any ideas what would cause this and how to reset it?

Thanks
Rob

A fault in one of the wheel speed sensors could be the cause. Check the ABS codes for any faults....

Hi,

When was the last time you flushed your Brake Fluid? If it's moisture laden and boils, this can set off a pressure sensor in the ABS. That's the problem here.
The Service Notes state:
  • Information light for TC

-Lights for a lamp check when ignition is
    switched on

    - in conjunction with the indicator light in the rocker switch indicates that driving stability control is off

    - Indicates defect: TC is out of order

    - Lights together with the ABS warning light when there is an ABS fault.

    Warning light for ABS

-Lights for a lamp check when ignition is switched on

    - If the ABS warning light lights up with the engine running, the ABS has switched off
    due to a fault.

Hope this helps...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
