Oil Change Paranoia

I bought a new (to me) DD a couple of months ago. It was time for its first service and while changing the oil I caught myself looking through the pleats on the old filter for any foreign debris (it also uses a cartridge filter). No reason to do so just Boxster paranoia creeping in to my daily life .....

Yeah, some habits get ingrained.

I sometimes try to start my Forester by sticking the key in on the left of the steering wheel?!

I would only think it would be a problem if you started checking the pleats of other peoples clothes.
