I wonder if someone ever thought of suing Porsche over the failed IMS in small claims? It would only be partial reimbursement, but it's better than nothing.

It's one thing to obtain a judgement, quite another to actually collect.

I like her style. But I doubt that she will win.

The mileage ratings (and how they are tested and reported) are defined by the goverment, not the car manufacturer. Honda will argue that they are 100% in compliance with the government regulations for mileage and that if someone doesn't like it, they need to sue the government not Honda.
