Smile Hey! I just bought my first 986, and I'm super excited!

Hey all!

I'm an Australian who moved to Canada 6 years ago and just never got around to buying a car (Don't need it in downtown Montreal) recently got an offer too good to refuse to buy a 2000 986 with 58k miles, 2 previous owners. Last owner had a bad knee and didn't drive it anymore.

I've had quite a few fast turbo nissans in the past, and used to compete in some drifting competitions in Aus but I gotta tell ya the feeling of driving around with the top down on a nice summers day, and that engine sound at 5k even with a stock exhaust had me as happy as I've ever been in a car.

excuse how dirty the car is, it's being detailed at the moment, I was just excited to post.

Think I'll only change suspension, wheels , headunit and enjoy the car as is.

Looking forward to chatting and learning from peeps on the forum!

(sunglasses not mine, had been in the car 20 years )

Good on ya mate, read as much as you can on this forum, Lot's to learn, recommend you change oil & filter A.S.A.P., after oil is drained, remove the oil sump plate & inspect inside.
