After plenty of searching for a reasonable Type 3 VW, I gave up and settled for a slightly different car from the same design genesis. A sweet 2004 986 in basic black. With only 65,000 km this makes a great Sunday car as opposed to my Toyota Prado which is the work truck suitable for outback Qld.
