The biggest difference is the engine. 2016 is a 6 cylinder normally aspirated boxer engine. The 2019 is a turbo charged 4 cylinder boxer. Performance is higher on the '19 but the 16 sounds way better. And also the 16 will cost 25% less due to depreciation. A low milage 16 will be a heck of a lot easier on your wallet. I don't know about you but I can't afford a 2019 ANYTHINGMOBILE let alone a brand new Boxster.
