Congrats for the new boxster! Is it smoking that is why AOS is what the issue? AOS replacement is not that hard if you used to work on car. I just replaced mine the other week and only took me 2 hrs including wiping the top of the engine to make it cleaner and cleaning the dirty air cleaner. Ordered cleaner just came last weekend and going to replace it anytime this week.

Aos

I was told it was bad AOS, so that is what I am going to replace. 76K miles on original motor.
