First, share a picture. Second, it's "Boxster." As for the IMS bearing, your car most likely has the single row IMS bearing which is more likely to fail. Whether you change it depends upon you, your attitude, and ability to pay a hefty engine replacement bill, should the worst happen. There are many threads on this issue, as you can imagine, and I suggest you search the forum for this topic. Good luck, welcome and enjoy your new Boxster!
