New 2000 S owner in Beverly Hills

Picked up a fairly mint 2000 Boxster S last night, my first Porsche after many, many other sports cars and hot rods. Always wanted a Boxster S or 911. I'm very happy with the condition, history and price I paid.

This seems to be the place to introduce yourself so here is a start, I'll add more later. New acquisition is silver with a full leather tan interior. Auto AC and a Porsche radio with equalizer are factory but I still need to figure out what else is an option vs. what is standard. The only aftermarket add on appears to be an amp. Went into service in late 1999, pilot owned it. In mid 2008, a crate engine was installed at 29,000 miles, Porsche paid for 1/2 the engine cost, total bill around $10,000. Looks like he sold it right after that to the guy I bought it from, 53,300 on the clock now.

I suspect the engine was replaced due to an IMS bearing failure. Oil was in the coolant.

Pics and more details to follow. Any LA area mechanic or parts sources would be appreciated. I hope to do most of my own wrenching on this dealer serviced car. Who can afford a $318 oil change?
