986 vs 987

The good people of this board have chimed in and given me some very good food for thought.... Perhaps, considering all other factors, this wise decision is not to "shoot my wad " on a new car----and venture into the previously owned world.....

I would like your opinions....

Do you think there is big difference between the 986 and 987's with regards to the way they drive and handle?

I've driven a low miles 2004 S 6 speed and a brand spanking new 2006 S Tip----

Both were extremely clean and both were a helluva lot of fun to drive.

Anyone else have a view????
