New to a 2002 Boxster S

Hello all, I am new to this car through a death in the family. It needs some work and I am determined to get it done!
Any advise or help with parts/service etc would be greatly appreciated. I will post specifics as I discover them, but in the meantime I am a Porsche virgin so any tips are welcome!
Thanks!!

If you are mechanically inclined you will be fine and this forum can be very helpful. You may also want to find a good indie. Good lick and welcome.

Finding a good shop is key, as I am quickly finding out. Many shops, big and small - will not work on a Box (even for an oil change), and if they do, their knowledge may be suspect. Ask around on here - I'm sure there are others in your neck of the woods who can suggest a shop or two.
