RandallNeighbour Registered User Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Houston, Texas Posts: 7,243	Porsche does not have VIN based-build sheet database like MB does. It's a pity. Even a stealership can't look it up for you. You have to take down all the numbers off the sticker on the bottom of the frunk lid and research them. The older the boxster, the worse the build quality. Buy the newest one you can find, preferrably an 03 S or younger.... and get the S for sure.
