Boxster neophyte

Got a 2008 black boxster for Fathers day. I love my new toy. Yeah my wife is cool. I'm teaching my wife to drive manual. Having trouble with stalling from start on steep hills. Any pointers? New to forum.

Congratulations! Try pulling up the e-brake and keeping the button depressed (don't allow it to lock up)..this will prevent the car from sliding back... then go ahead and take your foot off the clutch pedal slowly while giving her a lil gas to get it going.. as you feel it start to want to go forward, release the e-brake handle down and go...

The prevention of the car rolling back should make her less nervous, which is probably what's causing her to stall..

Hope this helps!
