I have a 2002 986 S and have tried to open the car via the fuse box using a battery booster appliance borrowed from a mechanic! I connected it and there was a sharp crack and the domestic fuse box switch turned off,I am now wondering if the sharp crack was one of the fuses in the car's fuse box but wonder which one it would be so I can find another battery to enable me to open the bonnet/hood so I can charge my newish battery which the car seems to drain in a week for some reason no-one seems to know?
