I have a 1999 Boxster. I was driving it yesterday in 93 degree heat and had a first time experience where the horn would sound without me activating it. It was more aggressive on large bumps in the road or on uneven pavement when applying the brakes. It sounds like both the high pitch and low pitch horns are activating. Has anyone had such and issue and if so has it been diagnosed? I am thinking it could be the sensor/switch in the steering wheel but then again maybe it is a short at the location of the horns.
