I purchased a set of Vinstar Daytime Running Lights to fit on my UK, 2004 Boxster S as I did not want to do the fog light hack.
Lights fitted and ran wiring to cigarette lighter, DRL’s worked fine, off when headlights turned on, so DRL unit working fine.
Only problem cigarette lighter live all the time so DRL’s would not turn off!
Ran wiring to fog light relay unit, DRL’s off, start ignition, DRL’s on, switch on headlights, DRL’s off.
Switch off headlights, DRL’s on, switch off ignition and remove key, DRL’s still on!!!
Thought it might be a courtesy setting but after 5 minutes DRL’s still on!!!
How do I overcome this problem?
