I don't think my message sent. 2nd attempt... Found a post by you where you state replacing a "rear control arm" resolved your "clunking" noise from rear end.

New owner here of 2000 Boxster S and I am also experiencing annoying "clunking" noise from rear. There seems to be some confusion throughout these forums. To clarify before I purchase parts, did you mean "rear control arm" or did you mean "tracking" arm ( forked shaped end)?

I hope to have your success with eliminating this noise.

    Thank you!

    Denny

New owner of 2000 Boxster S here. I discovered a post by you which described the exact "clunking" noise I am experiencing. You stated that you resolved this issue by replacing a "rear control arm". There seems to be a symantics issue/confusion though out these forums. Before I order parts, to be clear, do you mean the actual control arm or the trailing arm which attaches to the body(forked looking piece)?

Sorry to trouble you but I would like to have your success in eliminating this annoying noise.

    Thank you,

    Denny
