Hey guys, I really need your help.

I have a 2001 Boxster S with a stock radio head unit (with cd) and amp. Recently have been getting periodic crackling (sort of like a scratched vinyl record) from both the radio and the cd, and the warmer the outside temp. the worse it gets. I sent the head unit into Becker Autosound but they couldn't duplicate the problem even at high temp. I then bought/installed used HAES 4X40 amp which corrected the problem for a short time but now its doing it again.

Any suggestions as to what might be going on would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey guys, I need a little help. I have a 2001 Boxster and factory amp (haes 4X40W) is dying. Trying to get old amp out of plug-and-play setup but I can't get the 2 plugs to release. Is there a switch or something I need to press? Thanks,
